The Bluethroat, known as ”the nightingale of Lapland” has been discovered to imitate tens of different bird species and even several mechanical sounds such as the ticking of a clock. The bird nests in the wet fell birch areas and by the brooks in Lapland.
The Bluethroat is the provincial bird of Lapland.
